Gretna's SPL home match against Dundee United is in doubt after a pitch inspection was called for 9am on Saturday morning. With heavy rain hitting Scotland, the Fir Park pitch has been affected and the SPL game could be called off.
Gretna described the state of the pitch by early afternoon on Friday as "saturated", with rain still falling in Motherwell.
The SPL newcomers have been tenants at Motherwell's home stadium this season, after their Raydale Park home failed to meet requirements for the top flight.
Motherwell recently invested £40,000 to improve the condition of their pitch, where problems with drainage have forced several games to be postponed this year.
