Coventry manager Chris Coleman could welcome back midfielder Stephen Hughes for Saturday's Championship trip to Scunthorpe.Hughes missed the midweek defeat at Burnley after being knocked unconscious in the derby victory over Leicester last weekend but has since returned to training despite minor concussion.

Hughes is likely to return to Coleman's starting line-up in place of the fatigued Kevin Thornton, who will drop to the bench.

In-form striker Leon Best also received a knock to the ankle against the Clarets but has recovered and will be available.

Captain Michael Doyle serves the last of his three-match ban.
