Teenage apprentice Shaun Brisley scored a dream double to ease Macclesfield's relegation fears with a 2-1 home victory over Accrington.Born and brought up 400 yards from the Moss Rose stadium, Brisley, 17, opened the scoring after 15 minutes when he hooked home a Danny Thomas cross from 10 yards.
Accrington equalised after 32 minutes when Shaun Whalley released to Ian Craney who picked out the far corner from 15 yards.
But Brisley restored the lead after 38 minutes when he ghosted in at the far post to head home a Jamie Tolley corner.
Macc should have extended their lead after the break but winger Danny Thomas scooped the ball wide from 15 yards with only the keeper to beat.
Stanley were reduced to 10 men after 70 minutes when Aswad Thomas threw the ball in the face of Brisley.
