Scotland manager George Burley has assured Barry Robson he will be part of his plans for May's friendly with the Czech Republic. One report on Friday claimed Robson was unhappy at being sent home from the Scotland camp ahead of Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Croatia after SFA medics ruled him unfit for action.
But Burley insists there is no problem with the Celtic midfielder, who has been passed fit for Saturday's Old Firm derby at Ibrox.
"Barry Robson is very much part of my squad and, injury permitting, will be in my squad for the next match," Burley told the Scottish Daily Express.
The Scotland boss insisted he had no option but to send Robson back to Celtic after he picked up a knee injury in Sunday's win over Gretna.
He added: "I saw the injury for myself and Barry's knee had ballooned up. It was that bad he was struggling to walk and it was clear he was in a lot of pain and needed treatment.
"The boy wanted to stay but we thought it would be better for him to go back and get treatment at his club because Celtic have some big games coming up, and the last thing we wanted to do was to make the injury worse."
