Grimsby skipper Paul Bolland says match nerves will be the biggest factor in deciding whether he or MK Dons lift the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.Mariners midfielder Bolland, who fired the winning goal in the northern area final to sink Morecambe, feels Grimsby will start as underdogs against Paul Ince's League Two leaders in the competition's showpiece final.
Bolland said: "They'll start as favourites. They've been top of the table most of the season and we've lost to them twice already.
"But in the second half of the recent game when we lost 1-0, we had a lot of chances to get something out of the game.
"It's not going to be easy for them, both teams are going to be up for it, but the winner will be decided by who handles the nerves better on the day.
"It's going to be a great atmosphere, hopefully 65,000 fans and it's going to be a case of who can best handle the occasion."
Bolland, 28, believes Sunday's final could be the pinnacle when some of his team-mates finally look back on their careers.
He added: "It's every player's dream to play at Wembley in a cup final and this is the best chance some of our players are going to get.
"It's going to be one of the highlights of our careers and we're all looking forward to it.
"It's brilliant. The fans have really got into it and are really looking forward to it. There's a buzz around the club and the town."
MK Dons manager Ince believes the final can help put the Dons on the footballing map.
The Dons appear destined for promotion and moved to their impressive stadium:mk home last summer.
But Ince believes that taking more than 30,000 fans to Wembley will boost the club's ambitions of establishing themselves as a Championship club.
He said: "The number of fans we are taking just shows you how much Milton Keynes as a city is growing and is getting behind us.
"We average about eight or nine thousand here every Saturday and we want to go places. Going to Wembley puts us on the map and we could have sold even more tickets if they were available.
"It is a big day out for everyone and we have a great chance of lifting the trophy and being winners.
"That is important for the players and important for me.
"But we haven't lost sight of what our main priority is - and that is getting out of this league."
