Bolton manager Gary Megson insists the club must ignore ongoing disputes in the dressing room and focus on the battle for survival. The Trotters' fight against the drop has not been helped by Megson having to fight fires in his own dressing room.
Defender Abdoulaye Meite's refusal to play in the second half of the recent 2-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford looks to have spelled the end of his Trotters career.
Then midfielder Ivan Campo petulantly stormed down the tunnel when Megson substituted him against Manchester City last weekend.
Yet Megson insists he can handle the pressure, saying: "It's an enormous challenge for the football club - not myself.
"Everyone knows what we need to do.
"That's the easy part. The method is the difficult part and how we get to where we want to be.
"Over the course of the last month, things haven't gone particularly brightly for us.
"Before that people were talking about how well we were performing.
"We just need to start scoring again.
"The focus on has to be getting as many points as we can in these last seven games.
"It doesn't matter how we do it or who does it."
