DOUBLE: Diamond Tycoon and Mr Aviator.

Diamond Tycoon can sparkle in the intercasino.co.uk Magnolia Stakes at Kempton.

Brian Meehan's four-year-old is comfortably the class horse in this Listed heat and should be champing at the bit on his first start since the 2000 Guineas.

The son of Johannesburg rarely catches the eye in the preliminaries - he always gets warm before his races - but is an entirely different proposition once sent about his business.

In what was one of the hottest maidens of last term, Diamond Tycoon made a high-class field look like slow-boats at Newbury when he trounced St Leger winner Lucarno by six lengths.

The form has since taken on cast-iron sturdiness for third-placed Black Rock has won three races and counting, while Cambridgeshire winner Pipedreamer was well held in sixth.

Diamond Tycoon could only finish ninth in the 2000 Guineas but the general consensus was that the race came too soon after Newbury and that he was not at his best.

As there is enough stamina in his pedigree to suggest this extra two furlongs will suit, he may not need to be fully wound-up to take this race en route to bigger and better things.

Form horses are usually worth following this time of year and Mr Aviator certainly fits the bill in intercasino.co.uk the Rosebery Stakes.

Richard Hannon's charge recorded a classy success at the track last weekend and will strip a lot fitter than most of his rivals.

This is admittedly a tougher assignment but the booking of smart apprentice Hadden Frost helps negate his 6lb-higher mark.

Mark Johnston's winter squad have been in fine fettle and Soapy Danger can transfer that good form across to the grass at Doncaster.

Although there is a question mark over his fitness - he has not run since October 2007 - the five-year-old is a smooth operator on his day and should have enough in the tank to land the DBS Classic Breeze Up Doncaster Shield.

Dickie Le Davoir has not finished outside the top two in six starts and although some have questioned his appetite for a scrap, it may be his turn in the Ladbrokes - Serious About Services Handicap at Wolverhampton.

The biggest meeting of the day, of course, is at Nad Al Sheba, where Curlin may not even need to break sweat to win the Dubai World Cup.

Suitably inspired by an effortless victory at the track in February, it is virtually impossible to oppose Steve Asmussen's Breeders' Cup Classic hero.

The American Horse of the Year is sure to be too short a price for most rank-and-file punters, however, so each-way interest could revolve around Vermilion.

The Japanese raider is reported to be "twice the horse" which finished fourth to Invasor in last year's renewal.

The Brits can hit the target in the Dubai Sheema Classic with Arc runner-up Youmzain, while French 1000 Guineas scorer Darjina is entitled to run a big race in the Dubai Duty Free.

Souri Des Champs can also strike a blow for the French by winning the EBF/TBA Mares Only Novices' Chase Final at Newbury.

Trained by the colourful Guillaume Macaire, this five-year-old looks a really smart performer and clocked up a noteworthy hat-trick at Market Rasen in February.

She jumped for fun in Lincolnshire and had six lengths in hand of the smart Theatre Diva, who rubber-stamped the credibility of the form by winning at Exeter on her next start.

Despite her relative inexperience, Macaire's charge possesses a highly-progressive profile and will be seen to even better effect on genuinely good ground.

The consistent Castlecrossings is well above average and will be up to the job in the EBF Byrne Bros Mares Only "National Hunt" Novices' Hurdle Final.

Tino Tino landed a rare punt at Warwick in February and should still have more to give off his revised mark in the Tommy Shone Handicap Hurdle at Bangor, while On Y Va gets the vote in the Keogh And Hows Selling Hurdle at Stratford.
