Jose Mourinho is in talks with Inter Milan about a return to management, according to reports.

On Friday night, Reuters were reporting that the former Chelsea boss' personal adviser, Eladio Parames, had said Mourinho was in Milan for talks about the manager's post at Inter.

Since leaving Chelsea in September, Mourinho has said he would like to work in either Italy or Spain.

Inter are currently top of Serie A but crashed out of the Champions League to Liverpool at the last-16 stage.

Following that defeat, current coach Roberto Mancini said he intended to step down at the end of the season, only to reverse that decision a day later.

Mourinho has been linked with a number of high-profile jobs this winter, including those at Real Madrid and Barcelona.

He was also mentioned as a possible England chief before Fabio Capello took the reins at the FA.
