Cheltenham chairman Paul Baker believes the club's ground share with league rivals Bristol Rovers will be "mutually beneficial for both clubs".The Pirates have come to an agreement with the Robins to use their 7,136 capacity Whaddon Road for the next two seasons while their Memorial Stadium, situated 40 miles away, undergoes major redevelopment work.
"We are delighted to have reached an agreement with Bristol Rovers to groundshare for the next two seasons," Baker told the club's official website.
"The deal is clearly very important to us in terms of additional revenue generation but it is equally important that the two clubs do everything possible to minimise the impact on local residents who will clearly have concerns about this arrangement."
He added: "We look forward to working closely with the Bristol Rovers directors and staff over the coming months towards an arrangement that will be mutually beneficial to both clubs."
