Huddersfield's Michael Collins has been recalled to the Republic of Ireland Under-21s squad and team-mate James Berrett placed on stand-by.Collins, 22 this week, has been capped twice by the Under-21s, but his last appearance came six months ago, while teenager Berrett has been a regular for the Under-19s.
Don Givens' young Irish squad are scheduled to play Iraq, hosts Malaysia and Nigeria in the Intercontinental Cup from May 12-25.
Collins has recaptured some of his best form for the Terriers since forcing his way back into the starting line-up after the Christmas period.
Berrett, 19, has been a revelation for the Terriers since making his first-team breakthrough in the FA Cup win over Birmingham in January and has since been a regular in the side.
