Blackpool boss Simon Grayson admits he has been left bewildered by his side's inconsistent form in the Championship.The Seasiders are not yet safe from relegation ahead of this weekend's final-day home clash against Watford.

Grayson's men looked to be on the brink of safety after beating rivals Sheffield Wednesday at home but then followed the victory with a dismal 3-0 defeat at Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.

"Against Wednesday there was commitment, desire and passion," said Grayson.

"At Plymouth it was the complete opposite.

"There was no passion or desire and that astounded me because I have no idea how we can be like that. It bewilders me."
