Crewe first-team coach Steve Holland is raring to go for Saturday's crucial League One battle with Oldham at Gresty Road.Defeat for Alex and victories for Cheltenham and Bournemouth could still send them crashing out of League One but Holland insists his side are "determined" to secure their safety.
He told the club's official website: "I cannot wait for the game to come around now. It cannot come around quickly enough for me and I'm sure the players are feeling the same way.
"We have had the threat of relegation hanging over us for a long time now and this is our opportunity to see ourselves safe.
"We are determined to finish the job off on our pitch and in front of our own supporters."
He added: "We don't want to be relying on anybody doing us any favours. We want to get our own house in order and make sure we finish above the bottom four because of our own work. After 46 games if we are safe then we will deserve to be safe."
