Ling looking for strong Orient finish

Tue 29 Apr, 03:00 PM

Leyton Orient manager Martin Ling is determined to end a season which once promised so much on a high despite their sorry recent run of form.Last Saturday's 4-1 defeat at Swansea stretched their winless streak to six matches and Ling is expecting a vast improvement when Bristol Rovers travel to Brisbane Road on the final day.

"We've not had that winning feeling for a long time, so it's important to put that right against Bristol Rovers," he said.

"We need to put a performance together in that game to say thank you to the fans for the support they've given us this season.

"Two hundred people went to Swansea and we didn't give them a performance. We'd like to give them something to cheer this week."
