Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore insists his side will face a stern test when they make a final-day League One trip to Northampton. The encounter is essentially meaningless for both sides as they cannot be relegated or qualify for the play-offs.
However, Moore said: "It's going to be hard because Northampton are a big strong side who pass it.
"Both sides have nothing to play for but we want to win. Every game you play you want to win."
Meanwhile, defender Ian Goodison has been voted player of the season by Rovers supporters.
The Jamaican international took the award for the second year in succession, while full-back Andy Taylor was named young player of the season.
