Damion Stewart has been ruled out of QPR's final match of the season after the appeal against his red card at Norwich was rejected by the FA.The big Jamaican was sent off just five minutes into Saturday's 3-0 Championship defeat at Carrow Road for a foul on City striker Ched Evans.
Manager Luigi De Canio was unhappy with the dismissal, and said: "I didn't think Damion deserved to go."
But the FA have upheld referee Phil Joslin's decision and Stewart, having been sent off once before this season, will now serve a two-match suspension.
The centre-half will therefore miss Sunday's final fixture at home to West Brom, and the opening match of next term.
