Manager Mark Stimson insists Gillingham travel to Leeds "quietly confident" of getting the win which could keep the club in League One.A crowd in excess of 30,000 is expected to pack Elland Road on Saturday for the final game of the season, as the Gills bid to leapfrog over relegation rivals Bournemouth and Cheltenham to safety.
Stimson has urged his players to savour the experience of playing in front of such a big crowd and is confident of producing a decent performance despite the side's plight.
"There is always a twist and turn on the final day of the season and there is a team than nobody expects to get out of it and that team could be us," said Stimson.
"Cheltenham are at home to Doncaster and Bournemouth are away at Carlisle. Two of those teams need to win to try and get the automatic promotion place.
"Leeds will be a very hard game but it is one that we will be quietly confident about and with the way that we have been playing of late, I'm sure we can go there and put in a performance."
