Wrack still looking to the future

Tue 29 Apr, 05:30 PM

Walsall midfielder Darren Wrack insists he still has a lot to offer the club ahead of his testimonial match at the Banks's Stadium on Tuesday. The 32-year-old, who celebrates a decade with the Saddlers against midlands rivals Wolves, believes he can go on playing for another three years.

"As a player, I believe I can carry on professionally until I am 35," Wrack told the club's official website.

"Although you hear about some clubs who employ specialists to advise players about lifestyle, diet and so on, I am a wise old pro and I know how to look after myself and my fitness."

Wrack made his Walsall debut in August 1998 and has gone on to make over 300 appearances for the club.
