Swindon midfielder Sofiene Zaaboub insists he is "not too disappointed" to be leaving the club after being told he is surplus to requirements. The 25-year-old failed to cement a place in boss Maurice Malpas' side since the Scotsman took over from Paul Sturrock in January.
The former FC Brussels and Modena winger is now looking for new employers and is confident he can secure a place at a League One club in time for next season.
"I am not too disappointed because I had talks with the manager two months ago and there were a few opportunities to go out on loan," Zaaboub told the Swindon Advertiser.
"He decided not to let me go, but it was when we changed the manager before Christmas that proved bad for me.
"One manager might like you and the other does not. This is football and this is the life, but hopefully in the next few days I will sort something out."
