Petr Cech is confident Chelsea's 'bonus' away goal against Liverpool will give the Blues the edge in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
An injury-time own goal from Liverpool defender John Arne Riise at Anfield last week handed Chelsea a 1-1 draw and a slight advantage ahead of Wednesday's return meeting.
And as Avram Grant's side prepare to welcome Liverpool to Stamford Bridge, goalkeeper Cech - who made a string of saves to keep the Reds at bay on Merseyside - is confident Chelsea can finish the job.
"It was a bonus for us," Cech said in the Daily Express when asked about Riise's blunder. "You realise that it has all changed.
"One-nil down is not one of the best results you can get away from home. But 1-1 is a good result because you know that if you keep a clean sheet at home you are through.
"We went there and wanted to score an away goal, because that is always important in the Champions League.
"We said afterwards we like that result, because we were 1-0 down, but we showed character and put in a good effort, especially in the second half."
