Stockport chairman Norman Beverley insists the newly-promoted League One outfit will not be forced into selling their best young players.County climbed into the third tier after beating Rochdale 3-2 in the League Two play-off final at Wembley on Monday.
Several of their highly-rated young players such as Liam Dickinson and Anthony Pilkington have been linked with moves away from Edgeley Park.
But Beverley said: "That's football, but we've no intention of letting players go.
"However, if the money's right for the football club and it's a club the player wanted to go to, how could we stand in the way?
"But at this moment in time we've had absolutely no offers for anybody, we're not looking for offers for anybody, we don't really need to sell anybody and we'll see where we go."
