Sheffield United goalkeeper Paddy Kenny is expected to be fit for pre-season training after undergoing knee surgery. The 30-year-old stopper had a "clean and tidy" operation and will be out of action for three weeks.
Manager Kevin Blackwell told the club's official website: "It's been a bit of a niggling problem for Paddy and we thought it would be an ideal time to have it sorted."
Kenny, who missed the league clash with Leicester last month due to the problem, but played in United's last five matches, should be available for the pre-season friendlies starting in July.
