Gary McAllister has been "overwhelmed" by the amount of goodwill messages following Leeds United's play-off final defeat to Doncaster. The Leeds manager revealed he has been inundated since his side's 1-0 Wembley defeat to Donny and assured fans he was even more determined to steer them to promotion.
McAllister said: "The messages of goodwill both before and after Sunday have been overwhelming - and I'd like to say thank you to everyone.
"Because of the sheer numbers it's been impossible to reply to them all, but I hope everyone who has e-mailed and written in will take this as a thank you.
"And I can assure everyone that we will do our best next season and look to get this club nearer to where it belongs."
