Defender Colin Hawkins has signed a two-year deal at League One side Brighton after he was released by Coventry.Hawkins, 30, was not offered a new deal by Sky Blues boss Chris Coleman at the end of last season and was told he could find a new club.
The former Doncaster centre-back will be now reunited with Seagulls' boss Micky Adams after the pair were together at the Ricoh Arena from 2005 to 2007.
Adams told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "He is a leader on the pitch. The influence he will have, particularly on our youngsters, will be invaluable."
