Barnsley duo Stephen Foster and Martin Devaney are both expected to return to full fitness in time for Tykes pre-season training.Centre-back Foster tore a calf muscle last month, while winger Devaney tore a hamstring during the FA Cup semi-final defeat to Cardiff and both missed the Tykes' Championship run in.
Meanwhile, striker Michael Coulson faces up to nine months of rehabilitation after undergoing knee surgery.
The 21-year-old, who tore a cruciate knee ligament during training towards the end of last season, hopes to return to action in early 2009.
