Premier League - Hangeland dismisses move talk

Eurosport - Fri, 29 May 17:19:00 2009

Brede Hangeland maintains there are "no indications" he is set to leave Fulham in the summer.

FOOTBALL Fulham defender Brede Hangeland, linked with a £15 million move to Arsenal - 0

The 27-year-old American-born Norway defender has been one of the most consistent performers in Roy Hodgson's team, which clinched their highest top-flight finish in seventh and with it qualification for the Europa League.

Arsenal are one of the clubs reported to be tracking the £8 million-rated centre-half, but Hodgson has no intentions of letting one of his key men leave.

Hangeland told Norwegian newspaper, Stavanger Aftenblad: "Speculation has become a part of daily life and at times it's quite tiring.

"I don't know anything about this story. Right now, there is no indication that I will change club."
