  1. IF WHAT THE PAPERS TODAY ARE RIGHT THEN NEXT SEASON WILL BE FUN WITH TEVEZ AND ANOTHER UP FRONT MIDFIELD OF IRELAND, BARRY, ROBBIE, AND KOMPANY, SO MR "CALL MYSELF MANAGER" HUGHES SORT OUT THE BACK 4 ASAP

  2. Yes he is the best, Ive been using him in Fantasy PremierLeague as a regular for 3rd season in a row, and yet he did'nt dissapointing me with low pricetag and great performance. And in real world, he's pass and goalscoring ability made him the best on another blue half of Manchester. From Arsenal fans

  3. he is a great player pity he doesnt play for ireland as it would improve us greatly. His work rate and enthiasum on the pitch is second to none and the co called great players who dont work back should take a page from his book.

  4. Money talks and if he carries on playing the way he is clubs will come sniffing. But what a cracking player. City will need challenge for stuff and give Ireland the platform to work off and win things no matter how loyal players are if their that good they don't want to that good and win nothing.

  5. What a Great thing to say, I wish more pro footballers would show such loyalty,
being a pompey fan i would love to hear some of our big names saying the same.
Well done Steve Ireland keep on playing great football and dont let your fans down.

  6. Shame we'd have loved to have him at Villa. His work rate is incredible and with him and Milner in the same side (at Villa ofcourse) few teams would be able to cope with the energy level. Oh well dream on and good luck MCFC next season.

  8. he's a great player no doubt. although his lack of commitment to his country means that he'll never be a hero. a hero for a club like man city needs to make it at international level as well as club level.

  9. Im a Liverpool fan but I dont think MU were that bad this year. OK, so I dont like the ego in OT but they get the job done - sometimes - but at the same tme I would love the current team to stick together and fade away into nothing. Not going to happen but would be great to see. Fair play to Ireland, he has proved he can play at the top and has the right attitude - refreshing to see.

  10. Half A Brain - I have been thinking of a word to describe Utds performance yesterday.. Your pic describes it perfectly. " Yesterday United fans were singing "united got to Roma City staying homa today we're singing United went to Roma, got stuffed by Barcelona na na na na."

  13. cikarang5...You're just another bitter plasic inbred Rag who can't keep his big nose out of someone elses thread, it is obvious that you and the rest of the plastic inbred Glory supporting Munes are becoming obsessed with what is about to ignite over at Eastlands.
I agree that it might take three maybe four years before Man City rule the World, but hopefully around that same time, The ex mighty Scum will be playing Blue Square Premier League Football.
Good Lord Above how the mighty Rag Scum Munchengladbacks have fallen from grace in just 90 minutes, absolutely annihilated and taught a footballing lesson in Europe's most prestigious Cup Competition by a reserve team with the falsely claimed best player in the World Tranaldo being embarrassingly upstaged by the "REAL" best player in the World Messi.
Man-Ure are totally ruining the game of football by pretending to be something that the whole watching world now know for certain they're not.

Shame that steve is staying with the losers,he is good enough to win things but never will at eastlands. As for things falling apart at OT you w#ankers will not win a trophy for at least another 3 years while we will keep breaking records.

  16. "Has Christmas come early this year or what?"........Last night the Rag Scum Munchengladbacks get absolutely annihilated and taught a footballing lesson by Barcalona and Today Our very own "Superman" Stevie puts pen to paper as to stay at Eastlands for at least the next 5 years, Well done Stevie for all that you have achieved over the past season, you are already a City Hero in the eyes of every Man City Fan and not too far away from becoming one of City's most treasured Legends.
Everything is now falling into place very nicely over at Eastlands, just as Baconface and his merry bunch of losers over at the swamp are starting to fall to pieces....."The Future is very Bright, The future is very Blue!!".

To Alan G: Sorry you can't have our "Superman" Stevie Mate, but i wish you and everyone associated with Everton FC the very best of Luck in the FA Cup Final, and i for one will be cheering for the Toffees on Saturday.

  19. Stevie you already are a hero to the city fans. Probably the most improved midfielder in the country last saeson. It was a travesty and an injustice that you were not voted as the young player of the year. But there's no doubt that if you duplicate your form next season you will surely walk the award. Well Done Stevie you will be a legend at City!
