Charlton midfielder Therry Racon has been called into the Guadeloupe squad for the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup tournament in July.

The 25-year-old will join up with his Guadeloupe team-mates on Sunday, June 14 before the Gwada Boys fly to San Francisco where they will play Mexico, Nicaragua and Panama in the group stages.

Racon's international selection rules him out of Charlton's friendly at Welling on July 8 and he could also miss a chunk of pre-season training if Guadeloupe progress to the knockout phase, including a warm-up match with Roy Keane's Ipswich.
