Hangeland: No truth in exit reports

Fri 29 May, 01:50 PM

Brede Hangeland maintains there are "no indications" he is set to leave Fulham in the summer.

The 27-year-old American-born Norway defender has been one of the most consistent performers in Roy Hodgson's team, which clinched their highest ever top-flight finish in seventh and with it qualification for the Europa League.

Arsenal are one of the clubs reported to be tracking the £8million-rated centre-half, but Hodgson has no intentions of letting one of his key men leave.

Hangeland told Norwegian newspaper, Stavanger Aftenblad: "Speculation has become a part of daily life and at times it's quite tiring.

"I don't know anything about this story. Right now, there is no indication that I will change club."
