Former Rochdale midfielder Mark Jones is poised to re-join Blue Square Premier outfit Wrexham.
Jones, twice-capped by Wales, is set to return to the North Wales club after being released by Rochdale.
The 25-year-old's career at Spotland has been hampered by injuries and he made just nine league appearances last term.
Wrexham manager Dean Saunders told the club's official website: "We have been talking to Mark for a little while, and he will be signing on the dotted line a little later in the summer."
Meanwhile, Rochdale have also released striker Lee McEvilly.
