Owls line up `big boys'

Sheffield Wednesday will face Premier League duo Hull and Blackburn as part of their preparation for the 2009/10 Championship campaign.

The Owls' pre-season schedule begins with a training camp in Malta on July 11, with friendlies against local opposition following on July 13 and 16.

Brian Laws' men will then travel to Hartlepool (July 21) and Stocksbridge (July 22) before welcoming Hull to Hillsborough (July 25).

The Owls' then face a trip to Northampton (July 28) before ending pre-season with a home clash against Blackburn on August 1.
