Burnley forward Martin Paterson admits the club's promotion to the Premier League has "not sunk in yet".
The Clarets booked their place in the top-flight after securing a 1-0 win over Sheffield United at Wembley on Monday.
Patterson, who netted twice in Burnley's play-off semi-final triumph against Reading, bagged 19 goals last term.
The 22-year-old told the club's official website: "It's not really sunk in yet, it was a very emotional day for me.
"I wind back to two-and-a-half years ago. I was in a B&B playing for Grimsby on loan and my rise through the ranks has been steady and delightful.
"Maybe the will from me and the players to play in the Premier League has got us there. I didn't come to Burnley to sit in mid-table and be a seasoned pro in the Championship. I wanted to push on like a lot of the lads."
