Plymouth Argyle boss Paul Sturrock has warned he will not be bullied into signing Japanese players just because key shareholders want him to.Tokyo-based K&K Shonan Management Corporation owns 20% of Argyle and have revealed they would like to see more Japanese players arriving at Home Park.
But Sturrock told the Plymouth Herald: "I'd like to think any Japanese players who come to this football club are going to fit the bill.
"There have been very few players who have come from Japan and been a success in this country. I have watched a lot of videos and it's all about getting the right players.
"The Japanese season does not end until January, so there are still a lot of opportunities for me to look at people."
