Championship pair Swansea City and Watford plus League One Leicester are believed to be chasing Republic of Ireland full-back Ian Harte.The 30-year-old is available on a free transfer after being released by Sunderland at the end of last season.

He made just eight Premier League appearances for the Black Cats after moving to the Stadium of Light last summer from Levante.

Harte is on the look-out for a new club and it is believed the Foxes, Hornets and Swans all hold an interest.

The former Leeds United defender is now waiting to discover if any of his suitors come up with a firm offer for next season.
