  2. John #13. Thanx Mate, you are spot on Bro'...the City/United thing is only Local rivalry banter which can easily be put on the backburner or quickly forgotten when it comes to Our National Football Team at all level's and rightly so, just like every other English loving football fan i absolutely adore Rooney, Ferdinand & Carrick etc.. which goes a long way into showing how fickle we can all be when we get behind our Country, every bread & butter week i wear the sacred Sky Blue of Man City with either Robinho's or Ireland's name etched across the back but on the caviar occasions i am equally just as proud to be wearing the sacred Red or White shirt of England with either Rooney's or Gerrard's name etched across the back.
Real Madrid didn't sign the Best Player in the World when signing Ronaldo or KaKa, Man United still house the Best all round Player on the planet in Wayne Rooney and as much as it pains and hurts me to have to admit that fact, i just thank God that he is English and plays his heart out for our Country.

    Take care Mate.

  4. Oh dear! Those nasty people against England again. It couldn't just be because Hart cheated by trying to psych the players off the game, could it? Naw, that would be too easy, eh?

  5. carl c - Hart was pulling faces to the Swedish players before they where taking thier penalties to put them off.

mrbearphotograph - an outfield player would have to take the place of a goalkeeper, if there is no more subs leff, just like if the keeper got sent out during a normal game and all subs where used

  6. Ben Foster is the best keeper i have seen play, we had him on loan at watford, think he'l be number 1 in years to come, just hope he gets he's break this season so he's in with a shout for next years world cup.

  7. Please do not tar all us Scottish people with the same brush . The muppet who writes in so called "Scots" is a clown . I have never met anyone who speaks like that . He obviously went to one of those schools where teachings were influenced by nuns and priests and Irish doctrine and is now a Celtic supporter . His name gives him away . Stick to communicating with leprechauns and sex offenders , better still head over to the Michael Jackson comments page where you can complain about how you were abused as a child .
    BIG JOCK KNEW .

  8. Can someone explain why Hart is boked for gamesmanship but the Swedish goalkeeper berated Milner when he lay on the ground after he missed and was seen mouthing off to our other penalty takers and he was not even spoken to, French ref !! There is the answer. Good luck tonight lads

From carl c, on Mon 29 Jun 7:37AM
  9. If you watch the referee warning him about his gamemanship 2 penaltys before he should have stopped, he was over the top and the ref had no choice

  12. james.mccannmccann, sort your life out! In case you had forgotton, English is the official language of Wee Bonny Scotland, not that tirade of spit and phlem you insist on typing! The English conquered you long ago, although what for i dont know, perhaps they like their girls with beards back then, or maybe to just cull a few of you!

  13. Has his Loan to Birmingham(?) gone through? Lad needs some first team action next season i think, same with Foster at Man Utd, Gotta bring through the young English Keepers now as James is getting on, Green seems to freeze in big games, Robinson seems to have seen his last action for England, Kirkland is too injury prone, and mistakes have ruined Carsons confidence at international level! I'm sure i hav forgotten some good English keepers and people will let me know lol!

  14. Hang on, what happens if a goalkeeper gets sent off during a penalty shootout, you can't make any subs during the shootout, does this mean an outfield player on the team that finished the game has to go in goal? I was just wondering there ha.

From Michael, on Mon 29 Jun 1:27AM
  15. Don't see what the problem is here, he tried to put the player off by pulling faces during the penalty shoot-out, so yes he deserved the yellow card and he's only got himself to blame, and to say that Uefa are against English clubs or English teams is total @#$%, English refs would have done the same if in that position at club or international level.

  16. I Blame that French prat Platini, could not organise the preverbiable ******** in a brewery, can anyone tell me why the same ref was used as in a previous England game, same ref sent off Mancienne, what hope do we have with that french plonker in charge

  19. As a Man City Fan i am pretty gutted for Joe, but i didn't expect anything other from those gutless, death warmed up, cheating morons at UEFA lead by that googled eyed, frog faced, French bar-steward midget, Platini and his bum pals.
Looks like the same old scenario were the Referee's have been given strict instructions by these above Twankers as to do anything and everything in their power to ensure that England don't win the tournament, if it had been any other player from any other Country except England, the red card would have been rescinded with no questions asked and no questions answered.
