Colchester captain Chris Coyne has been urged to sign for Australian side Perth Glory by their captain and his brother, Jamie.

Despite currently skippering the U's, the 30-year-old defender is said to be contemplating a move away from Essex.

"Obviously the Glory are interested in him and quite a few other teams as well," said Jamie Coyne. "On a personal note, I'd love to have him here. Hopefully they can come to an agreement sometime soon."

He added: "I think he's just waiting on a few offers and will weigh them all up at the same time."
