Tranmere boss Les Parry has appointed Steve Walker as the club's new physiotherapist.

Walker spent last season at Burton Albion after 14 years at Crewe and his arrival will allow former physio Parry to focus solely on football matters.

Parry said: "I'd like to welcome Steve to Prenton Park and wish him the best of luck in his new role.

"It will be strange seeing someone else working in my old treatment room but I know the players are in capable hands.

"Steve is an experienced physio whose expertise will enable me to concentrate fully on managing the first team."

Walker added: "I've known Les a long time through football. When I got the opportunity to work with him I grabbed it with both hands."
