Bradford have been a dealt a major blow as summer signing Chris Brandon could miss the start of the season due to an ankle injury.Brandon, a free signing from Huddersfield, has been ruled out for at least two weeks after being forced off in Saturday's defeat at Motherwell.
He told the club's official website: "It's touch and go for the start of the season. Obviously it's still early stages, but I'm probably looking at a couple of weeks.
"Fingers crossed it might heal up a bit quicker, but it's just one of those things that happens in football."
Brandon is the fourth Bradford player currently out with an ankle injury, with Michael Boulding, Paul McLaren and Kyle Nix struggling with similar problems.
