Managing director Simon Corney revealed Oldham have received bids for several of their players - but insist they will not leave on the cheap.Latics boss John Sheridan has made six new additions to his squad during the summer, with Kevin Maher being the latest player to arrive at Boundary Park.

And although Corney insists members of the first-team set-up will not be allowed to leave on the cheap, the managing director admitted the club would be willing to allow certain players to leave if their valuations were met.

"We've been very cute in the transfer market and without blowing our own trumpet too much we've negotiated hard, brought in the right players and not had to re-mortgage the club to do it," he told the club's official website.

"There's offers out on a few of our players - we're making no secret of that - but until the right price comes along, we'll be doing everything we can to keep hold of them."
