Peter Jackson has promised Lincoln City fans a "very special season" after unveiling his seventh signing of the summer transfer window.Carlisle striker Kevin Gall, 26, has arrived at Sincil Bank on a six-month loan deal, with a view to a permanent move after rejecting a two-year deal with his parent club and an offer from Cheltenham.
Jackson told the Echo: "Kevin is an exceptional talent and when I knew he was available I was on the phone straight away to try and persuade him to come.
"I've had to be patient to bring him here, but the fact he turned down League One clubs to join us speaks volumes for our ambition.
"He will offer us genuine pace down the middle, and to get him is a real coup for the club and I'm just delighted with how my preparations for the new season are coming together.
"I have a special squad here and make no mistake about it, I would say to the supporters that we are in for one very special season."
