Blackburn chairman John Williams has revealed that Rovers are in talks with Tottenham over the transfer of England midfielder David Bentley.Williams confirmed that Rovers are in negotiations with the Londoners but insisted to BBC Radio Lancashire they had not accepted a bid from Spurs for the 23-year-old.
Blackburn have already rejected offers from Spurs and Aston Villa for Bentley, who has been valued at £17million.
Tottenham have money to spend after agreeing to sell Republic of Ireland international Robbie Keane to Liverpool for a fee which could total £20.3million.

bentley can pass a ball you should watch more football mate he is the next beckham he technique is exactly the same but with a bit more skill i.e. ball tricks his passing and crossing will be as good as beckhams he is worth more than 17million look at gareth barry he is older and he is 18 million as these are players the clubs dont want to loose so he signed the contract he should stay the length of his contract and play for the rovers as spurs are rubbish even blackburn finished higher last season rovers rule and we have won the premiership and we established the football league and we are the only club to win the fa cup 3 times in a row what more do you need to suceed you play with your heart you will achieve great things this boy needs to realisethis as he is a talent and he could show it by winning something with blackburn look at fabregas he is devoted to arsenal he just says no so bentley should take note as pride and passion should be before money and hopefulness.
