The United States won an emotional Olympic gold medal in men's volleyball, beating the world's top ranked team Brazil 3-1.
Brazil kicked off the match with a strong 25-20 win in a first set plagued by service errors on both sides.
The United States powered back, opening a 6-0 lead at the beginning of the second set and holding on to win.
In the third set, Brazil kept the game tight, but lost on a service fault. America trailed for much of the fourth set, but pulled even from a two-point deficit near the end and drove ahead to win 25-23.

The spirited fight exhibited by team USA reminded me of the 1988 final with the USSR. Certainly they will rule if the team sticks together until next Olympics. Bravo to Stanley- u are a class above the rest.
