Blackpool have signed Plymouth defender Marcel Seip on a one-month loan and he could make his debut in Tuesday's trip to Bristol City.
Seasiders boss Ian Holloway was forced in to the transfer market after injuries to Neal Eardley and Rob Edwards during Saturday's 2-0 win against Peterborough.
Seip, who has made more than 100 appearances for Plymouth since being signed by Holloway from Heerenveen in 2006, was transfer listed by current boss Paul Sturrock after a dressing-room bust-up in August.
"I'm delighted to have Marcel with us, he is a good solid player and he will give us another option in defence," Holloway told the club's official website.

blackpool now have a brilliant defender in seip....we have a @#$% manager here at plymouth argyle called clueless sturrock !!!.......enough said !
p.a.f.c forever.
Having a manager at Blackpool, who has moved about in 'championship circles' is definitely a bonus. A new player who understands the manager from previous experience is likely to have a good first game. Cynics will be muttering 'if you believe that you'll believe anything.' Well, I do believe it, 'Up the 'Pool!'
