World Touring Car Championship winners SEAT will head to the season-ending race in Macau ready to crown either Yvan Muller or Gabriele Tarquini as the new world champion.
The Spanish team secured the manufacturers' championship after the first race of the last round in Okayama, Japan and will end the season on another high when either Muller or Tarquini take the driver's crown.
During a highly-successful year, SEAT's Leon cars have secured 12 victories and five pole positions from the 22 races before Macau, ending the BMW domination that had lasted since 2005.
Muller currently heads the drivers' standings with 100 points, 14 clear of Tarquini, and is favourite to secure the title in Macau on November 16.
"It has been a fantastic season and we have been fighting for that for several years," said SEAT Sport director Jaime Puig.
"We have been given new technology from Tdi that has enabled us to do something more with the car.
"We are proud to say now that Spain has won all the three automobile world championships: Formula One with Fernando Alonso, WRC with Carlos Sainz and WTCC with SEAT."
Practice and qualifying for Macau take place on November 13, the warm up two days later and both races on November 16.
