Aberdeen have been warned to make Charlie Mulgrew a contract offer he cannot refuse.
Manager Mark McGhee revealed this week he was in talks with the highly-rated full-back over a new deal.
Mulgrew's current contract expires at the end of the season and agent Kevin Drinkell said in the Evening Express: "We are now at the point of asking Aberdeen FC just how much do you want Charlie Mulgrew to stay?
"He is a player whose star is rising and he is playing well."
Dead-ball specialist Mulgrew, who joined Aberdeen from Wolves last summer, has shone this term thanks to a number of spectacular free-kicks.
