Neil Mellor is delighted to have reached the 100-game mark for Preston.
Mellor, who has already scored seven goals this season, racked up a century of games in the draw against Middlesbrough.
Now the former Liverpool forward hopes to celebrate his 101st appearance with a goal and victory against Crystal Palace.
He told the Lancashire Evening Post: "I'm pleased to have reached the 100-game mark and hopefully there will be plenty more games to come.
"It's a nice milestone to reach, it shows I'm happy at Preston and shows I've been featuring in a lot of games which is something I obviously enjoy. Consistency is important to me.
"At the beginning of last season I started a lot of games and scored goals. It's been the same this year and I know if I play a number of games in a row then my true instincts as a striker will come out."
