Huddersfield boss Lee Clark is confident striker Robbie Simpson will reveal "the real Robbie" when he gets a run of first-team games under his belt.
Simpson, 24, has been restricted to eight appearances for Town since signing from Coventry in the summer for £300,000, due to illness and injury.
Simpson is close to returning from a thigh injury, and Clark told the Huddersfield Examiner: "So far it's all been a bit stop-start for him, which is frustrating for everyone.
"But I've never doubted Robbie's ability and having watched him often before I signed him, what I've seen since he's been here has only reinforced my view that he's a very good footballer.
"When he gets that run of continuous training under his belt, we will see the real Robbie - a lad who will score goals on a regular basis."
