The Football Association have confirmed they are investigating reports of crowd disturbances at the Carling Cup tie between Barnsley and Manchester United at Oakwell.
The governing body say that following a series of reported incidents they are now awaiting the reports of an FA crowd control advisor, present at the game, as well as from referee Chris Foy.
The FA are also liaising with both clubs and South Yorkshire Police to gather evidence relating to events at the ground.

Why do you always make ridiculous and pathetic statements?
And by the way, the story had it that 4 of them were United fans (so-called) and the other 4 Barnsley's while another article had it that 3 were Barnsley fans!
Don't talk Crude of Sir Alex Fergie..Hate him, Loathe him, you won't argue the fact that he merits enough respect from you! I see you as Peter Pan as you never grow...but this time you need to GROW UP!
Let them ban the coach himself... Ogunmola Shola Johnson Abuja, Nigeria.
