Doncaster are under no extra pressure in the Coca-Cola Championship this season, according to defender Adam Lockwood.
Rovers survived their first season back in the second tier of English football for the first time in 50 years last time out after a difficult start, but Lockwood has dispelled the notion that promoted teams usually find it more difficult to stave off relegation in their second campaign.
Lockwood told Press Association Sport: "I don't know about extra pressure. The only pressure the players feel is the pressure we put on ourselves.
"We want to improve as a team, we want to become better players. We make our own pressure.
"Last season it was daunting because we didn't know what to expect. It's no easier this season, but we've proved we're more than capable of holding our own at this level."

If anyone who makes bad comments about Donny and have never played football at this level only make it from the stands should get behind your team not knock them.Im very proud of my team and things will only get better. We should ask Kevin Keagan to put his cash from his Newcastle deal into his home town.Mart
Adam Lockwood should think before he gives his opinions. Once again Rover are in a difficult situation, only two wins so far this season, not one away. They do need an injection of money from the so called board members, to improve the squad especially in defence. So Adam Lockwood, think agaib
