On-loan goalkeeper Alan Martin has been recalled by parent club Leeds so Ian Dunbavin will continue between the sticks when Accrington travel to struggling Grimsby.
With injury ruling out Leeds shot-stopper Shane Higgs, Scotland Under-21 international Martin has returned to Elland Road.
Dunbavin was expected to retain his place in goal anyhow, having played in last weekend's impressive 2-1 win at high-flying Rochdale.
John Mullin (ankle), Leam Richardson (groin) and Chris King (knee) will all miss out for John Coleman's men, who can move to within touching distance of the play-off places with a win.
Stanley were this week given a reprieve by HMRC as they fight to stave off closure.
They initially owed £308,000 to the tax office, a sum that had to be paid by by Wednesday, but their revised total of £112,000 now needs to be paid by next week.
