Bournemouth striker Brett Pitman is not surprised by his side's flying start to the season despite their well-documented problems.
The Cherries are three points clear at the top of League Two despite being hamstrung by a crippling injury list and a transfer embargo.
But Pitman, who has already scored eight goals for Eddie Howe's men this term, is sure that the adversity has helped galvanise all at the club.
"We are doing well on the field and that's all everyone here is concerned with," he told Press Association Sport.
"We have got a good team spirit and we have proved time and time again now that the 11 players we put on the field are good enough.
"The things off the field have never concerned us, they have brought us together if anything."
